Beyonce’s Etiquette Pet Peeve Revealed

Beyoncé is renowned not only for her unparalleled talent but also for her unyielding work ethic. Amidst the whirlwind of her sold-out concerts, being an involved mom of three, intense recording sessions, and album releases, she embraces a philosophy that sets her apart from the crowd – a strong preference for surrounding herself with positive, driven individuals.

When interviewed by Complex magazine, Beyoncé revealed one of her pet peeves is that of
people who complain.

The “Formation” singer told Complex magazine “Whenever I feel bad, I use that feeling to motivate me to work harder. I only allow myself one day to feel sorry for myself. People who complain really get on my nerves.” Complaining is considered bad etiquette because it perpetuates negativity, lacks constructive solutions, strains relationships, and can be detrimental to personal and professional well-being. Not only is it a negative drain on positive energy, but it also shows a lack of constructive solutions.

We’re with Bey on this one! So if you find yourself complaining or in a situation where someone else is always complaining, what should you do?

If you have an issue and want to bring it to someone’s attention, do so, but bring it to the table with a solution. Use words like “here is how we can resolve this” or “it’s an easy fix, here’s what I think we can do” or similar, which will take away a complaint and make it a constructive issue you are trying to resolve.

Just remember the phrase “never complain, only explain” and you can stay in Bey’s camp, and ours!
